Week Five: The Constitution

Last week we focused on the Revolution that produced the United States of America.  This week, we will look at the steps taken to create the United States of America that we recognize today.  The Articles of Confederation did not work at all.  After a few years, it was evident that something had to be done to create a new, functional government.  We will look this week at what happened in a very hot, very stuffy, and very important room in Philadelphia at the end of summer in 1787.
